Hotfix for the vessel insertion intro cutscene failing to display in Original mode during Local play.
Added a shuffle option to Custom playlists and fixed local lobby controller disconnect crashes, achievement registration in Local mode, localisation errors, and a potential input issue in The Filter.
Couch co-op arrives: connect up to four controllers, or three controllers plus one keyboard-and-mouse player, and pick Original, Custom or Arcade from the Local menu. Five simulations were adapted for shared and split screen.

The publisher's own release-date trailer, and the fastest way to see what Machine Party actually is before reading anything else. In seventy seconds it establishes the premise the rest of this wiki documents: a group of test subjects funnelled through industrial party games where losing is fatal. Watch it if you are deciding whether the game suits your group — the tone is deliberately grim and the violence is cartoonish but constant. Nothing in the trailer is a source for game facts; player counts, modes and requirements on this site all come from the Steam store page and the developers' patch notes instead.
Everything on this page traces back to one of these. Checked on 2026-08-15; we re-check after every official patch.
